Who is Hollywood Dad?

Hollywood Dad, Tommy James, is a New Jersey native, a Syracuse Grad, and a Los Angeles resident (in the 818, yo!). He's also got an MBA from Tulane, but since he wasted 60 grand on a degree he has no use for, he doesn't like to talk about it - So don't ask.

Besides having spent several years performing stand-up comedy from Boise to Buffalo and everywhere in between, Hollywood Dad has written and produced on televisions shows for MTV, MTV2, E!, G4, Comedy Central, The Style Network and even had a short stint TMZ.

In April 2008, he sold a game show to a major production company only to have that deal fall through shortly thereafter. But he keeps churning out the concepts and hopes to one day spoil his beautiful wife and gorgeous boys with everything they could ever want... Though for now, their twice a month visits to the Cheesecake Factory will have to be considered splurging.

Currently, he's writing on an E! countdown clip show, grinding it out, and waiting for that next break. Oh, and he's certain he'll finish that screenplay one day.

Look for his stand-up comedy clips at TommyJames.net or YouTube - And tell your friends about this blog!
